The only slice Chris Paterson likes....
If you have ever wondered if it's possible for a world class rugby player to kick a 5lb haggis through a rugby goal, Great Circle and digital specialists Storm ID have obliged. With the help of Scottish and world rugby legend Chris Paterson, the agencies have created a short film on YouTube that shows what happens.
The film is part of a UK-wide digital marketing campaign for the new '1-minute haggis', from the leading Scottish food brand, Macsween.
Great Circle Director Michael Groves said: "A digital campaign was without doubt the best option to launch the microwaveable 1-minute haggis. When the opportunity to work with Chris Paterson came along, creating a video nugget that combines his kicking prowess with Macsween haggis, was a chance not to be missed.
Vivienne MacLaren, Digital Marketing Director of Storm ID, said: “We’ve been managing the digital marketing around the delicious Macsween 1 minute haggis product since last year and thought this would be a great promotional opportunity that could then be pushed quite quickly online via existing facebook profile, twitter and beyond.”
The Haggis in a Minute campaign uses a combination of competitions, online advertising, paid search, new site pages and social media techniques to drive traffic to campaign-specific pages. Facebook and Twitter sites feature prominently . It supports a six-month UK wide roll-out of the product in all of the major multiples and a wide array of independent retailers
